The first HTML loads no analytics, session-replay, or advertising script at all, and never will before you accept: GA4's tag file, Clarity's loader, and both Adsterra scripts are injected only after an explicit accept (or not at all). The page sets the Consent Mode v2 default with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage all denied, plus ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough. Accepting updates those four to granted for this visit's analytics and ads; rejecting keeps everything denied and nothing extra loads. The embedded game and video are operated by their respective providers, which may contact additional delivery or advertising domains after you click; their own privacy and consent controls then apply.
Storage
Key poople-consent-v1 in localStorage stores your accept or reject choice and an expiry. We keep it for 180 days, then ask again. If you close the Adsterra Social Bar, key poople_socialbar_closed in localStorage stores that choice so it stays closed after a reload. GA4, Clarity, and Adsterra may set their own cookies or storage after you accept; those are governed by their policies. The practice game and solver do not write an account. If you hide the choice dialog, no other key is set.
Legal basis
The pages themselves are served because you asked for them. The consent key and the social-bar key are stored so we can honor the choices you made. Analytics, session replay, and advertising scripts start only after your explicit accept (or not at all), which is their lawful basis. YouTube and poople.io run only after a click, which is the signal to load that frame.
Retention
The consent record expires after 180 days in your browser. We do not operate a server log of puzzle guesses. Hosting logs, if the host keeps them, are the host's. Email you send to [email protected] is kept long enough to answer and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of mail you sent us, ask us to delete it, or object to how we handle it. Use [email protected]. You can also clear localStorage yourself or open Cookie settings in the footer to change a saved choice. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may complain to your local authority. We will not make you create an account to do this.
Advertising opt-outs, DNT, and GPC
Advertising on this site is served by Adsterra with the adult-ads category disabled. To limit personalized advertising across other companies, the industry opt-out is aboutads.info and Google Ads Settings is adssettings.google.com; Adsterra's own privacy terms are linked from adsterra.com. If navigator.globalPrivacyControl is true, or if doNotTrack is "1", we treat the visit as a refusal and do not store an accept.
Changes
If we add or remove a tag, this page changes in the same release, and the date at the top moves. Open Cookie settings in the footer to change your stored choice.
